EYE EXAM

David Zuech, M.D.
Dr. Zuech is a native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a degree in Zoology in 1989. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, graduating in 1993.

Dr. Zuech was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Zuech has practiced full time at Enid Eye for more than twenty years and has over twenty five years experience in ophthalmic surgery.

Dr. Zuech is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, board certified and recertified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He resides in Enid with his wife, and enjoys life with his three children. He enjoys spending time with family, golf, and watching college football.

Brian Shewey, O.D.
Dr. Shewey is an Enid, Oklahoma native and graduated from Enid High School in 1982. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1986. He then attended Northeastern State University College of Optometry, graduating in 1991.

Following one year of practice in Midwest City, he joined Enid Eye in 1992. He is a current member of both the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association contact lens section.

Dr. Shewey is married to Susan and has three grown daughters. He enjoys guitars, golf, and gardening.

James Rogers, M.D.
Dr. Rogers grew up in Noble, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy where he was elected to Rho Chi honor society. Dr. Rogers received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed a family practice residency through the University of Oklahoma and Garfield County Medical Society. Dr. Rogers then practiced family practice and emergency medicine for four years. He then returned to do a second residency in ophthalmology at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center then returned to Enid to practice comprehensive ophthalmology. He is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Rogers has had the privilege of providing medical and surgical eye care to northwest Oklahoma since 1993. He and his wife, Cindy, have three children and one grandson. Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with his family, sports, exercise, and traveling.

Kyle Rogers, M.D.
Dr. Rogers is an Enid, Oklahoma native. He graduated from Enid High School in 2007 then attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in Microbiology with Distinction in 2011. Upon graduation he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK, graduating in 2015.

He completed a one year internship in Internal Medicine at the OU Medical Center. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in 2017. Dr. Rogers completed an ophthalmology residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, OK, graduating in 2019.

Dr. Rogers is happy to have returned to Enid to serve the community in which he grew up. He looks forward to providing northwest Oklahoma with high quality medical and surgical eye care at the Enid Eye clinic. He and his wife, Sydney, have one son, Alston. Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and photography.

Chase Ratzlaff, O.D.
Dr. Ratzlaff grew up just south of Ringwood, OK, graduating from Ringwood High School in 2006. From there, he attended Oklahoma State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, receiving his B.S. degree from NWOSU in Biology and Chemistry in 2012. Upon graduation he attended Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry, in Tahlequah, OK, graduating Cum Laude in May of 2016. He is a current member of both the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Ratzlaff is excited to have the opportunity to return to northwest Oklahoma to offer quality care for his current and future patients! He is well trained in the newest technology and procedures for the treatment of ocular disease and has special interests in pediatrics and contact lens fitting. When not at the office, you will likely find him spending time with his wife, Cortney, and their three sons: Hudson, Carson, and Becker. Dr. Ratzlaff enjoys most sports and any activity that can get him outdoors.
